2010- A Recap!!

2010!!! What a turmoil it has been!!! I would call it a landmark year in my life or rather a year of changes. But on the whole I would call it a year of corruption. The "Raja" being promoted to the status of "Spectrum Raja" after he looted off with 1.76 lakh crores. Maybe i should try joining politics as my dear friend Govind suggested. 4G auctions are yet to start. Let's plunder, loot and get away with it. And not to forget the food scam, Aadarsh society scam and the Yedurappa land scam. To top at all Mr. Yedurappa proudly announced that i have done the same that my predecessors had done and he pompously questions what's wrong in him getting away with. Well, that's definitely a slap in the face of the justice system of our country. The most worthiest of all being the CWG Games!!! It literally raped the nation to shame. In short let's just say that the present Govt. simply sucks and we're voiceless against it.
Leaving all this crap behind let's fast forward to my life. Well!! It's been quite a laugh when i look back for the past one year. Even though i miss the college i studied in i knew i had to move on to perhaps something better or rather to something that i'm good at. But i do miss the good old hostel days, Fazil's unbearable jokes, Balaji's utter comedies and the worst of all i remember booting Balaji's 360(Psst!!! He's three months pregnant!!! He told me when we met at the cultural recently!! Wonder who the "father" is???). I also remember when Prof. Sampath called fazil "Vaanthi".  And how can forget the amplifier of our class... our one and only "damma"!!! I would also be doing great injustice if i fail to mention the hero of our class S M Karthik (SMK). The ever effervescent smart sexy young "MAN" of the class. Maybe he should be made the "face" of ECE-A!!! Our Ultimate comedy star G Dinesh's non stop commentary and slagging leaves everybody in splits!!! And our stagnant NEN representative of our class Mr. Fire a.k.a "Nadamadum Minsara Sudugadu" a.k.a Barani Kumar who keeps rocking the world with his blog!!! And how one forget the Big "Daddy" of our class a.k.a Jeykumar!!! The silent playboy of the class!!!! Dilli a.k.a Harish a.k.a Rep a.k.a Vodafone a.k.a Pug doesn't talk much but when he does he shuts everybody up!!! A(O)thappa, the spindly little guy in the class is much like a sidekick!!! M R Dinesh the self proclaimed dada of our class hold sway to the back bench gang!!! And the worst of all, Balasubramanian with his romantic advances was advanced the ECE-B!! Looks like he got the best of both the classes!!! But of course, what more could you expect from a guys who goes out on a date with a fourth standard girl!!! Our satellite guy Satish (GPS) goes around buzzing about satellites and robot cars. Ankush Gupta also another roboticly  freaky guy who goes around trying to do something innovative. Our class girls must be made of special mention here because i think they took almost three years to open up!!! Of course a few of them did make quite a mark!!! Janani almost went on a fire spewing rampage during the second year that left almost everybody spell bound!!! And how can one forget the squeaky rat voice of the class and the recently disgraced "POSTER GIRL"!!! 
My hostel life was really one hell of a party!!!! Blessy with his guitar would endlessly entertain us with his screeching!!!! Spending sleepless nights,roaming around the corridors with Govind, munching on biscuits and reading magazines through the dead of the night with him are memories to be treasured!!! And of course our dishonourable, good for nothing, principal Mr.Venkatasamy had quite a shock when i pulled the strings on him and since then he has never looked me in the face!!!
On the whole it was a wonderful three years with all you guys out there and i owe you all a big thanks for that!!! 
Let us hope 2011 has something better for me in store!!!

All correct , but the true shocker was Charging Binayak Sen , with sedition charges , a doctor who dedicated his whole life in service to his patients , just because he strongly criticized the government on human rights violations during the anti-Naxalite operations , and asked to follow non violent methods, SC also upheld his sentencing , trashing the principal Gandhian ideology , "Ahimsa".

Satire in Lord of the Flies

William Golding’s use of satire in Lord of the Flies Since Golding’s purpose in writing his novel “Lord Of The Flies” is to, ‘trace the defects of society back to the defects of human nature’, his aim is really to comment upon the civilized world. Golding’s boys are merely the metaphor by means of which he makes his comments upon the real world. His metaphor is itself satirical since it makes fun of adults. Briefly put, Lord of the Flies says that civilized man, in his civilized society is no better than a pack of children running wild without adult supervision. This comparison seems absurd at first, so there is humour in it, but Golding does a pretty good job of making his argument stick. The naval officer at the end of the story is too close to the reality of the war like world we all like to ignore. He looks and talks like a gentleman polished and sophisticated, but in the line of his duty, he will find the enemy and give the order to commence firing, killing indiscriminately

Themes and Morals of Lord of the Flies

THEME AND MORALS OF THE LORD OF THE FLIES The theme of The Lord Of The Flies is its description of nature of man. According to William Golding himself, “The theme is an attempt to trace the defects of society back to the defects of human nature.” The moral is that the shape of a society must depend on the ethical nature of the individual and not any political system however apparently logical or respectable. The novel runs directly contrary to the Rousseauvian belief that naturally good man is the innocent and helpless victim of social forces over which he has no control. “The world is the way it is, because the people in it are the way they are”, says Golding. Golding is in the minority as a large majority if modern writers and thinkers cling to the Rousseauvian ideal of ‘noble savage’ or committed to the position that man is victimised from birth by society which is the real culprit.
